The main activity of Serenissima is focused at increasing the value of tannery products intended for the production of collagen, gelatins and proteins suitable for human consumption.
In short, our business ranges from the collection of bovine splits, mainly from inside the tanning district of Arzignano, and their processing in order to meet the standard of the food industry. More specifically the raw materials are subjected to fleshing, trimming and washing in order to eliminate any meat remains or other impurities.
Clearly, all the material is accompanied by an appropriate veterinary certificate or commercial document and full traceability is guaranteed.
The raw materials fit for producing food products are handled in full compliance of all binding sanitary and hygiene related regulations, guaranteeing their food safety.
In addition, we operate with Category 3 animal by-products, not suitable for human consumption (in a separated warehouse).
The applications for our products are mainly collagen, collagen casings, proteins and food gelatins, technical gelatins, glue, chew bones and other edible dog toys.
